"It's really nice that Voldemort always waits for the end of the school year to try to kill Harry. However evil he may be portrayed, but deep down he cares for Harry's education," I replied.
"Shut up," Maggie replied. "You have to watch children's movies from children's point of view! That's why they are called children's movies!"
Movies! That's the topic she chose to argue with me about! I could not stop snickering. I mean, it's me! - the guy who's been counted in top 1000 movie reviewers in the world and who gets paid in thousands each month for just posting a few reviews. Seriously, you don't wanna argue about movies with an IMDB pro reviewer. It's so painful to explain what makes a good quality movie to people these days, that I've just started to avoid those debates.
"I'm not against the Potter movies, all I'm saying is that they just didn't try that hard to make it a legend, not until they realized it's gonna be an end. Except the last two movies, the entire series had crappy direction. And most of the public here thinks that the last two movies were not good."
"They were good, but were just slow."
"They weren't slow, they were deep! And that is because only deep instances stick to the hearts, not just the eye-candy you see on the big screens. They realized that they had to make the characters stick if they wanted to survive even the after-era period, and so they finally went to David Yates, who was their best chance. They realized it, so did the rest of the world. But people here..."
"So what do you think about The Hobbit?"
"Now that's some choice! Lord of the Rings series is something that has both awesome direction and mind-blowing eye-candy to watch on the big screens."
"Alright, even I was thinking of going for it. You got plans with anyone?"
Finally, I was happy. I'd been trying to find a partner for it since a week but no one was available. "No!" I screamed, overjoyed.
"How about this weekend? I'll be arriving early morning this Sunday."
"Sounds great," I replied.
It had been more than 6 months since I'd talked with this girl and even after such long time-gap after which she had called me, we talked over the phone for around 45 minutes! It's funny how you catch up to some friends with so much interest whereas to some, you never know what to say once you're past the first 5 minutes.
Maggie is a girl who's real fun and cool to hang out with. I love intelligent girls who you can have really witty conversations with. And most importantly, she doesn't have Word Consciousness (WC) at all. That's what makes the conversations long-lasting without getting anywhere near boredom.
Maggie stays 4 hours away by train from my town and is in a live-in relationship with a guy who I hardly know. So, it's fairly evident that when the guy will come to know that Maggie is going so far out, and the first plan she has is a movie-and-lunch with a guy, he's gonna flip out a bit. But he's mature, as she says. So I'm hoping he ain't gonna follow her here and book some seat for that movie from where he could keep an eye on us.
Sunday morning, I went an hour earlier at the station to pick her up. And the moment I saw her, I had to remind myself to keep inhaling and exhaling, 'coz she looked breath-taking! The thing about my Core group is we never put up real display pictures on social networks, though I probably am the only one that doesn't follow that rule. It's got a long story behind it, and for that, you will actually need to flip a lot of pages behind. But the point is, I hadn't seen her since I last met her, and she had completely changed. Hair has always been strongest point of attraction for me, and the way hers were flowing, I just had a mini-orgasm. It was colored in brownish-blonde shaded stripes, just the way Neha had covered back in college 3 years ago, Anita had around the same time, Natasha had last year, Zoya had just some time ago, and now Maggie! - the last girl I expected to turn plastic. She looked marvelous. It must have been her boyfriend she did that for. Man, she must really want him to stay attracted to her. I wonder if some girl will some day do that hair for me...
She got down and found me. We hugged tight, it had been a long time. She hugged tighter and didn't let go when it had been enough. I should've read that signal but I ignored. She looked happy when she got down, how was I supposed to know? After that, on our way to the mall, I did notice she seemed a bit disturbed and wanted to talk to me about something. But I didn't want to be the one to force it out of her. We had a lot of time, I decided to let her decide when she is ready. She didn't bring it up until the 3 hours long movie ended, and we went to the food court for lunch.
I brought the KFC bucket to the table and we shared some fun talk for a while. She was looking around and finding out girls that would suit me, just for fun.
"Alright, how about her?"
I looked around and replied, "nope, not my type."
"How about her? Wow! Just look at that ass! Doesn't it wanna make you grab it involuntary?"
I laughed and replied, "Mag, I've stopped doing that."
She laughed and kept hunting.
"So, what have you been upto? How's life going? How's the living-in going?" and I quickly tried to examine the reflex expression on her face.
But there was none. She ignored it and went on, "come on, that blue T-shirt right there! She has got the boobies that call out even to girls. Just look at them and tell me you don't wanna squeeze them right here, right now!"
I didn't look around. My eyes never left her eyes, and then hers riveted mine. Then she quickly looked down and continued nibbling on the leg piece.
I didn't wanna push it too far. To bring it back to normal, I turned around and pretended to find that blue T, and just as I turned, I heard her voice from the back of my head, "I need help."
And then, she finally gathered the courage to tell...
