THE CHART OF LIFE - 2013 UPDATE

January 27th: 2013 starts now!

You remember the tradition I've been following since years, right? I just have to visit Siddhivinayak at Dadar every year in January to get my year started off in the flow. For the readers with weak memories, let me jog it real quick. People who read about this in last year's blog recently, can skip to the next para. Others, follow up! At the beginning of every year, I have to go to this temple and make my 3 wishes of the year. None of them are for me; some of them actually result in not-so-good consequences for me, but I still wish them for the benefit of some people who deserve it. Maybe the reason the wishes always get fulfilled is because none of them are ever for me. I of course won't repeat last year's incident, but this year, I thought I almost was gonna miss it. But 4 days before the finish line, I somehow managed to reach it. And this year's lucky contestants were: Zoya, Shayna, Tanmay. I won't disclose the wishes, obviously, but if you've been reading about my recent experiences with them, I suppose you know what the the wishes were.

Anyways, the tradition also involves making a list of things to do in the year ahead! The TODO tasks list! This record helps me keep my life in check to keep it exciting and in line. Many people live lives as it comes and never bother to compare the current years with the past ones and wonder if something could have been done differently and properly back then. Just so that I don't feel like I wasted a decade simply following the rules of the society and doing nothing for myself to count, I set up annual goals. Some I achieve (green), some I don't (red). Some I fail but achieve in the following years (purple). You probably know this all but last year, I didn't quite explain this much, so I put it in here.

The tasks:
1. Winning a short film award would be quite easy now that the quality of my film-making has grown classy. The only obstacle that was gonna stand a chance for this goal's failure was the absence of a DSLR in the team. But now, we got 2 and I also got enough time to kill to develop an outstanding storyline. And of course, as you know, yours truly is known for writing stunning stories already. B) So I can see this goal getting accomplished in the first half of the year.

2. I've always wanted to have a 1-day full-of-adventure date that I will remember for the rest of my life. And I want that memory to remain untarnished! So the thing is, if the girl starts having feelings or something after this date, the memory won't end on that same day, but will erupt later and leave traces until some problem arises. So, the best girl to be selected for this task has to be relationship-safe. :P -meaning that she has be someone who's confirmed of not wanting to start a relationship later; someone who just wants a day of fun (rather, who deserves a day of fun) and is involved with someone else or knows that this has to end in that same day.
